Request for access to the documents

In accordance with section 107.6.1 of the Cities and Towns Act, despite section 8 of the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information (chapter A-2.1), the chief auditor shall process the requests for access to the documents he prepares in performing his duties or keeps for the purpose of his mandate, whose terms and conditions are enacted in the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information. However, this task does not extend to documents that are otherwise kept by another public body, in which case the request for access should be sent to the person in charge of access to documents within the concerned body.
